Galvelmore was once home to a mosaic artist, you’ll find some of her amazing artwork through out the house. The kitchen splash back is one of her creations and quite spectacular!
Well equipped, spacious and with lovely views over the garden you’ll find all you need to create and eat a delicious feast. Capable of catering for groups of all sizes, the gas stove has 5 rings, an electric oven and grill. There’s a good supply of pots (including large catering ones), utensils and chopping boards as well as crockery and cutlery and the all important tea and coffee.
Plenty cupboard storage is available for your groceries along with a large fridge and tabletop freezer.
The light and airy dining room can seat 14 around three tables. More chairs and tables can be found in the front sitting room and kitchen.
For younger guests there is a high chair and strap on booster seat.
Having two reception rooms you’ll never be short of some where to relax.
The front sitting room with its vintage Chesterfield sofa and well stocked book library is the perfect place to curl up with a good read or have a natter with friends. Complete with an open fire, you might never leave!
Relaxed and cosy the garden lounge is perfect for chilling out. The three large sofas, TV with a range of DVD’s, Bluetooth speaker, selection of board games and a toy box are sure to keep everyone entertain even on the rainiest of days. The open fire and basket of logs will keep you toasty on a chilly night.
Galvelmore House has eight bedrooms, sleeping up to 21 people over two floors all decorated with a relaxed Scottish theme.
The spacious rooms are a mix of doubles and triples alongside one family room with a triple bunkbed.
Three of the rooms have ensuite shower rooms, the remaining five rooms share two family bathrooms.
With stunning views over the Ochil hills the large mature garden is perfect for lazy days when the weather is kind.
Plenty space for kids to play and kitted out with picnic tables and gas BBQ make it perfect for entertaining and dining alfresco. Finish off evenings toasting marshmallows over the fire pit at the bottom.
Out the front there is off street parking for up to five cars with more space in a large council carpark nearby.
