Walking and Talking - week long combined language and walking tour
Saturday 21st June until Saturday 28th June 2008 (7 nights) (without Highland Games)
Saturday 16th August until Saturday 23rd August 2008 (7 nights/ Highland Games)

This tour combines learning English in a relaxed, fun atmosphere in the mornings and walking through some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery in the afternoons.

The course is aimed at people with an intermediate level of English who would like to brush up and increase their knowledge of English and boost their confidence in talking freely. You will mainly focus on conversational skills and get a good insight into the Scottish culture. Discussions, role-plays and interviews will all be part of the fun-filled mornings. The language course takes place daily in a well-equipped conference room between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

In the afternoons we will be putting on our walking-boots to explore the Scottish countryside. Perthshire and Crieff are renowned for their enticing mixture of lush, picturesque valleys, raging rivers and towering hills. On the Sunday afternoon, we will laze about in the Market Park and enjoy the Crieff Highland Games.

Language course: A dictionary and enthusiasm
Walks: Average fitness, good sturdy walking boots, a rucksack and waterproofs.

Included in the price are transfers to and from Edinburgh airport, 7 nights B&B accommodation in a double room, 22 hours of language tuition by a qualified teacher, guided walks and transport to and from the walks.

Not included in the price are flights, lunches and evening meals.
