Our Purple bedroom has a super-king bed, giving plenty of space as a double
bed, but it could also be used as a two single beds if required. We
have bespoke headboards, designed and made by our friend Allan Craig, in
copper worked in an art nouveau style. The room also has a bed-settee,
making it both our 'honeymoon suite' and our 'family room'. The settee
is ideal for relaxing whilst watching a good film - as this room also
has a video player, with videos to borrow. Alternatively, look out of
the window to the views of the mountains beyond and the spectacular
sunsets. From a side window, on a clear day, Drummond Castle can be
glimpsed through the trees. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower,
smartly tiled in green.

Our twin-bedded 'Darjeeling' bedroom overlooks the extensive garden, and
its mosaic leg sculpture. The sunsets make this room glow with light in
the early evenings. Katy's only ever completed National Trust for
Scotland sampler is on view in this room, before she turned to mosaic!
Along with some Dutch prints and a Glaswegian pen and ink drawing, the
room also has Chinese umbrellas. very international. There is a seat at
the window, at which many guests are seen to be reading in the late
afternoon sunlight. The bathroom offers a large shower space, with
toilet and wash-hand basin. Hand-painted flowers decorate the
bathroom.
