The Strathearn Gallery
The Strathearn Gallery has a very good reputation in the Scottish art world. It holds regular exhibitions of contemporary paintings and applied art by artists and crafts people based in Scotland. Our friend, Allan Craig, who made the unusual headboards in one of our bedrooms, regularly exhibits at the gallery.

Artery
Promoting itself as offering 'antiques of the future', Artery shows a wide variety of international contemporary artists, at very affordable prices.

Aiton Fine Art
Located on King Street promotes local artists who paint in a more traditional style.

The Ceramic Experience
Create your own 'art', by painting mugs, tiles, ornaments etc in a relaxing setting and great cappuccino.

The Fergusson Gallery
J D Fergusson (1874 - 1961) is now recognised as one of the leading figures in the development of 20th Century Scottish Painting. The Fergusson Gallery in Perth houses the most extensive collection of his work in existence, in a building converted from the former Waterworks of 1832.

Perth Museum and Art Gallery
One of the oldest museums in Britain, the Museum is houses major collection of fine and applied art as well as archaeology and natural history.

Perth Sculpture Trail
Extending throughout a mile of public parkland, over twenty sculptures, designed with particular reference to their sites inhabit the area.

There are several other galleries in Perth City Centre and in Auchterarder.

Katy is also hosting a couple of weekends where you are the artist - a mosaic weekend and a batik weekend. Can they go through to these pages at this point?

If you enjoy painting and are looking for inspiration, then there are many wonderful spots for you to set up your easel. There is also a good arts and crafts shop in the town where you could buy those essential supplies.

In addition, there are several artists who run classes throughout the summer, and who also welcome visitors to their studios.
